Hello, I'm Stephanny and I like to make things! Just a quick note, the Projects page shows my technical projects, both academic and independent, while the Hobbies & Interests page shows a more casual and personal side of me. Background

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Florida in 2009. It was a growing-up moment in more ways than one: learning how to fit in, understanding a new culture, and picking up a language that didn’t come easy. Along the way, moments of isolation naturally came about, making adapting to new situations even more challenging. Figuring things out as I went became normal, and I still bring that careful, thoughtful mindset to how I learn, create, and approach things.

Education

I graduated in May 2025 from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering (CpE).

I originally intended to major in Mechanical Engineering (ME), then switched to Computer Science (CS). While I found both fields interesting, neither spoke to me. I liked the hands-on nature of ME and the challenge of CS, but something still felt missing. Eventually, I changed my major to CpE to combine the hardware and software aspects I was drawn to. It just made more sense to me ~(˘▾˘~).

In high school, I was part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. For my Higher Level (HL) course, I chose math; for my arts requirement, I took film; and for my language, I chose German.

Fun fact: I studied German for four years! Ich möchte nach Deutschland 🇩🇪 !

Personal

I got married in May 2023 ٩( ´◡` )( ´◡` )۶ ! My husband majored in CS!

We don’t always share the same interests, but exploring our differences together has been fun and brought us closer, helping us even learn more about ourselves. When we do find a hobby we both like, we really get into it.

Pet

We have a black cat named Lucius! /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁

He was rescued as a kitten with a broken pelvis and tail. Thankfully, his pelvis healed, but he still struggles with bowel movements. Unfortunately, the lower half of his tail never recovered and no longer moves.

He's a scaredy-cat, but he's slowly becoming more outgoing. Lucius can be clingy at times, but that's part of his charm! Speaking of charm, he looks like a bat and his meows sometimes sound like the Stardew Valley fishing noise!
