Hobbies & Interests
Crocheting
I like to crochet! I started sometime in high school, probably around 2019?
So far, I've made beanies, balaclavas, scarves, bags, a chair cover, amigurumi plushies, pillows, a blanket, a throw, and a few tapestries.
Right now, I'm working on another blanket using the alpine stitch. I’m using a 2.5mm hook and Yarn Bee’s Soft & Sleek DK Low Pill Acrylic Yarn in the color Pretty in Peacock. So far, I’ve gone through about 2.5 balls of yarn... and let’s just say it barely covers my thighs.
In the near future, I'd want to learn how to filet crochet!
Knitting
To the untrained eye, crochet often gets mistaken for knitting, so I figured, why not learn that too? I picked up the knit and purl stitches earlier this year (2025), but I haven’t made anything just yet. I’m still learning!
My goal is to eventually knit tapestries and make ugly Christmas sweaters!
Gaming
Growing up, I played all sorts of games. I like farm sims and RPGs, probably because I spent so much time playing Harvest Moon: Back to Nature as a kid. It's no surprise I ended up loving Stardew Valley. I'd say Stardew Valley is my go-to game!

Lately, I've been playing a lot of Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Nubby's Number Factory!
Music
I played the cello through middle school and halfway through high school. Back in 2014, I was part of the All County Honors Ensemble, and in high school, I participated in FBA Solo & Ensemble, earning Superiors for a cello duet and a violin-cello duet. My go-to piece is Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns.
I'd love to play the cello again... and maybe learn another instrument too! Regarding music phases, I've had a few:
- Classical
- KPOP
- Lo-Fi
- Queen
- Rock
- Decades
- City Pop
- JPOP
- OPM
More recently: Divorced Dad Rock (⌐▀͡ ̯ʖ▀)
Divorced Dad Rock Playlist: A lot of Creed, Seether, Staind, Daughtry, Nickelback, etc. You get the idea.
Films & Shows
I've taken film-related classes in the past, and those experiences sparked my interest in video editing and film. Ever since, I have found myself watching shows and movies differently. I often think about how certain scenes were shot and imagine how awkward or technical it might have been to capture a particular moment.
I enjoy watching shows and movies, but I sometimes catch myself being a little too critical to fully enjoy them. I try not to do that too much.
I'm currently in the Star Wars train.
Art

I used to draw much more when I was younger. I drew anime, cartoons, and even tried realism and portrait work. These days, I mostly just doodle.
My favorite painting would have to be Van Gogh’s Café Terrace at Night. Something about it brings me peace and serenity. I imagine myself sitting there, just taking it all in.
Something I admire and hope to get better at over time is color theory. People who understand color theory are really cool.
Stationery
I love love love stationery. I can never get enough!!! Stickers, washi tape, pens, highlighters, mechanical pencils, folders, notebooks, stamps — you name it ヾ(≧ ▽ ≦)ゝ ~~!
Characters I Like
Here are some of my favorite characters (in no particular order):
- Gengar
- Pompompurin
- Badtz-Maru
- Snoopy
- Pooh
- R2D2
- Rapunzel (Tangled)
- Jiji (Kiki's Delivery Service)
I also like Moomin, Miffy, and Love-a-Lot Bear (Pink Care Bear with hearts). I find Sumikko Gurashi characters cute as well!
Pokémon

Regarding Pokémon games, I play Go, Pocket, and TCG. My favorite Pokémon game would probably be Pokémon Emerald and my favorite Pokémon is Gengar.
The image on the right was our first ever chase pull. It came from the only Surging Sparks booster pack in a collection box, which made pulling it such a surprise. The dopamine hit was insane.
LEGO
I like Legos! Someday I want to build a MOC (not sure what yet ( ͡°- ͡°)?).
Skincare
I've grown really interested in skincare over the years. I try my best figuring out what ingredients and products work well for my skin. I struggled with acne when I was younger, and now I deal more with hyperpigmentation, redness, and oiliness. I still get acne, but not as much as before. Quite a bit turned into scars (ಥ﹏ಥ)...
My skincare routine is pretty simple:
- Oil-based cleanser
- Cleanser
- Toner
- Serum(s)
- Moisturizer
- (AM) Sunscreen | (PM) Adapalene or acne cream
Sometimes I’ll use a sheet mask, clay mask, or apply a BHA/AHA toner depending on my skin needs.
